Dems didn't brand "white dudes" as the "bad guy" as Portnoy suggests. We branded people who support a toxic, hate-filled convicted felon who abuses women and lies constantly about everything as the bad guys, and they just happen to be disproportionately white men.

Because authoritarians use blatant hypocrisy as a power flex. It's not a logical disconnect, it's a "what are you gonna do about it" challenge.

Honestly, the default position of everyone ought to be that Trump is hiding some really horrific acts. No other rational reason to explain this bizarre behavior other than he fears it would end his presidency.
