Would you rather:

-find a fresh corpse in your walls
-find a living person in your walls?

Is it stereotyping when it is literally describing the actions of your classmates?
I don't know who needs to hear this but if your worldview is stereotyping men based on statistics you have just created a permission structure to do the same thing to black men.

There isn’t a pheasant emoji and I really checked. I thought about passing off a duck, but I didn’t want any ornithologists on here to catch me slipping.

My husband and I have a longstanding debate over if GHW Bush ever killed anyone with his bare hands. I say yes, husband says he’s too much of a weenie
trump absolutely had epstein killed but no, he himself could not squeeze the life out of a grape
Sure, I believe Trump could have a guy killed. Look what's happening to innocent people in boats. But do I think Trump could kill a guy with his bare hands? No. I don't think he could successfully deflate and fold an air mattress.

If my math is right, this guy is admitting to dating a 19yr old in 2020?
When I was 37 I was dating a woman who was 19. The thing that inspired me to break things off was hearing Pearl Jam's "Alive" on the radio - a song released 9 years before her birth she had never heard . In that moment I realized things would never work.

Wisconsin Republicans are introducing a bill that mandates women use ‘catch kits’ when they have a miscarriage or abortion at home—forcing them to bag up their pregnancy tissue and bring it to the doctor as medical waste.

This is very funny about a terrible subject
Did I read the new Epstein emails? No I did not. I saw "confidential and intended only for the use of the addressee" and closed the tab immediately. You won't catch me engaging in unauthorized activity that is strictly prohibited and may be unlawful.

Rereading a bit of Frederick Douglass today and this felt unfortunately relevant, "the white man's happiness cannot be purchased by the black man's misery."

I left teaching due, in large part, to parents like this and the little monsters they raise.
I think the belief by the powerful that "people will put up with many things if you are excellent at math" is incredibly revealing in terms of understanding How We Got Here

The problem with AI (as currently being pushed within the tech industry)
is the same as the tech industry as a whole:

People (mostly white guys) want to be lauded for being excellent without actually doing the work to be excellent. They want to be seen as amazing while being mediocre.

A reminder that this anti-trans panic is 100% bullshit and exactly none of our country’s problems are related to someone expressing their gender identity and everyone who isn’t a hate-filled weirdo knows it.

I'll get back to "party unity" as soon as the Senate Minority Leader tells us if he voted for the Democratic party nominee for mayor of his city.

I'm tired of party unity only ever running one way.

Wow, you’ve met my mom?
Neurodivergence is being mocked your whole life for being "weird" because you're different, then after years of social trauma finally learning to embrace your differences only to be told "everyone is like that, you're not special" 😒🤦‍♀️

In 1893 Chicago police arrested a man for murder, starved him for four days, then gave him a bottle of whiskey. Once he was drunk they gave him an “alibi” form to sign. He was drunk and illiterate & didn’t know he was signing a confession. He was hanged. This is pretty much how Broadview operates.

I can’t over emphasize how Ross Douthat’s piece makes all women less safe. It incites more harassment and abuse of women in the workplace and beyond. It’s incredibly irresponsible and frankly dangerous.

And it was run by one of the most influential publications in the country.
