It is astounding that we've let our pavements turn into roads.

There is literally nowhere to go now with police currently powerless to enforce without legislation in place.

This is also a major public health issue as a lot of people either don't go out or drive everywhere.

🧵Just witnessed a Tesla driver almost wipe out a young man on a Zebra crossing.

Car had stopped in the opposite lane, light rain, dark but well lit crossing.

🧵I'm convinced that fraud is one of the biggest drag anchors on the UK economy.

Listening to Money Box on Radio 4 earlier where it was stated that 47% of all UK crime is now fraud.

If you don't trust people & companies, you don't spend, you don't trust finance companies, you don't get a pension.

Bus lane fines are easy to avoid and are reinvested back into transport. It's currently paying towards recent Iron Lane junction improvements, decluttering of Broad Street, Dudley Road improvements, further bus lane enforcement cameras and the upcoming A38 cycleway extension.

🧵Heartbreaking image as the Rafah crossing opened earlier today with scores of ambulances waiting to evacuate Palestinians that desperately need medical support that they can't get in Gaza.

There are thousands of people desperately needing medical aid, 3,000 of them children.

I really hope that the American people can remove Trump and his acolytes to face justice.

I just feel that a time is coming when a whole heap of countries will turn their guns, missiles and everything they've got on America.

If that happens we are all done.

From Angry Catfish:
“We're asking folks to host rides and come together. Bike shops and non-profits, cycling orgs and alt cycling collectives, city and rural. We are many but we stand together as one.”

This is one of the most compelling 'party political broadcasts' I've seen in decades. No wonder Labour is petrified about being eclipsed by the Green Party. There is an alternative to the politics of austerity and the weaponisation of prejudice and xenophobia and yes finally a glimmer of hope.
Help us make hope normal again.

Join the Green Party now.

Congestion pricing is mobility justice.
That's why the opposition pushed so hard. They couldn't allow any city to do it otherwise it would prove it not only works, but it's the solution to many problems at the cost of those who financially benefited from the status quo.
