It is astounding that we've let our pavements turn into roads.

There is literally nowhere to go now with police currently powerless to enforce without legislation in place.

This is also a major public health issue as a lot of people either don't go out or drive everywhere.

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

🧵The difference in how cooperative societies and 'free market' companies operate couldn't be more marked than the way that Central and Midcounties are conducting their potential merger to firm a new larger cooperative.

The whole process is being carried out with a level of transparency

Great to have @unitetheunion.bsky.social campaigning so strongly on toilet availability.

It is a matter of public health and human dignity and also an issue of safety - if people are distracted by needing a toilet when driving a bus, that’s a risk that can be designed out by providing toilets.
🚽 Research by @unitetheunion.bsky.social has found over half of UK bus routes have no toilets available for drivers.

These findings show a complete failure when it comes to providing decent toilet facilities for bus drivers. 1/2 ⤵️

I was included in the @cyclinguk.bsky.social 2017 list of 100 women in cycling and am dismayed to see their transphobia.

The Supreme Court ruling may have enabled organisations to be transphobic but it does not mandate that.

Cycling UK can and should be as inclusive as they say they wish to be.
