Our paper is out now in @europeansocreview.bsky.social. We trace residential choices and find that proximity to old classmates matters—but other networks can displace their influence.
In a new ESR paper with @laurafursich.bsky.social, we show that young adults are more likely to move to neighborhoods near their friends from primary and secondary school. This implicates schools as potential institutional engines of subsequent residential segregation.
