i don't need to defend the onion or elected democrats but inevitably this kind of argument devolves into "why does the internet refuse to absorb the exact same information diet as me and then draw the same conclusions as i did"
Everyone from Gallego to Pritzker is screaming that ICE as it stands needs to go, then Bluesky got mad that they weren’t at protests, then Klobuchar got attacked *for attending a protest* instead of Doing Something, the Senate Dems Did Something and a major tactical win and it gets branded a cave.
