Imagine a town centre in Tulse Hill where people linger, shop, and connect—not just pass through. A new street layout could boost footfall and breathe new life into Tulse Hill businesses.

Let's fix the gyratory.

Join our public meeting on Weds 23 July at 7pm.

We closed Abbeville Road in Clapham to cars for a few hours today and something truly radical and transformative happened.

We saw a community grow.

People came out to chat, laugh, listen, gossip, eat, drink and share.

Just proves that streets are for people not just for cars.

35% fewer collisions & 36% fewer casualties on London roads that have been dropped to new 20mph limit. No evidence it increases congestion. www.standard.co.uk/news/transpo...
More 20mph roads on way for London after injuries and collisions are cut by a third
Research commissioned by TfL on the safety benefits of 20mph has given the green light for more speed cuts

We love these pencil bollards that are popping up around schools in London, allocating the space for kids not cars.

👁️ So far spotted in Southwark & Lambeth.

Have you seen any near you! ?

My first time walking around the CONGESTION RELIEF ZONE on a non bone-chilling day and I am in love. Dramatic improvement. Here is 42nd & Madison — unfathomable that this usual clusterf*** of cars at this hour is this clear. As you can see however by the crosswalk, Manhattan is a ghost town now 🤣

Don't leave us out in the cold!

We hear a lot about the importance of gritting carriageways when it's snowy and icy, but pavements are often forgotten.

We're calling on local authorities to grit and clear pavements too, so we can all walk and wheel safely this winter.

I'm writing a book chapter on disability and active travel.

I think a section will be on the unsung infrastructures of active travel for disabled people.

Benches.

Public toilets and changing places.

Accurate and accessible information provision.

What else?

To kick off 2025 we bring inspiration from our friends in Copenhagen🇩🇰

Just look at this space reserved for family cargo bike parking. Truly a thing of beauty🌳 🚲

Come on Lambeth - we know you can do this too!

The #schoolrun is one big onion! 🧅

🧅 Layers of journeys made by different modes for different reasons.

🧅 One layer is primary school journeys of over 1 mile. 65% of these journeys in London are driven.

🧅 How to solve this layer??……

We’ll keep work with boroughs to make more streets safer and enable even more Londoners to get around on 2 (or 3) wheels 🚲🙂🚲
