SCOOP — A former staffer for Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ), Natalie Green, 26, was charged today for falsely reporting she was attacked by 3 men who wrote "TRUMP WHORE" on her stomach bc of her job. It was staged by her + a friend.

Van Drew isn't named in the complaint but I've confirmed w/ his office.

Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.

There is virtually NO reason to believe this and several pieces of evidence to suggest she was trying to achieve the opposite.

Had she denied the admin stay on Friday night, the full court almost certainly would have overruled her.

She set tight deadlines for the First Circuit and SCOTUS then.

For the first time all year, Democrats were riding high and the regime was on the ropes.

If Senate leadership’s goal was to demobilize and depress rank-and-file Democrats, they could not have played their cards better.

This is why we’ve launched the largest primary program that we’ve ever run.
Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...

New in PN: Cue the rebellion

"The unfortunate conclusion to the shutdown is going to fuel a rebellion within the Democratic Party, one that has already begun but will only get stronger. And despite all the justified disgust now being expressed at Dems, in the long run it will be good for the party"
Cue the rebellion
The Democratic base is enraged at their party's capitulation — and that's a good thing.

The Senate Dems pissed on the party as a whole, and THEIR actions are what will suppress voter turnout
There is NOTHING about being a Ride Or Die Democrat that precludes you from supporting primary opponents. It does, however, prevent you from pissing on the party as a whole and suppressing voter turnout. 💙☠️💙☠️💙

Not good enough, Bernie. Schumer is the most powerful elected Democrat in the country. If you’re not specifically calling for his ouster you’re complicit in what just happened.
In addressing whether removing Senator Schumer as leader should be an issue in Democratic primaries, Senator Sanders broadens the focus: "We need to take on the Democratic establishment all over this country."

If you’ve got a Senate Democrat who is not calling for new leadership, they’re part of the problem.

We should no longer trust Senate Dems who decline to come out against the leadership that led us here. Until proven otherwise, we should assume they were in on the game to fool their own supporters.
