games are always a canary in the coal mine in terms of both censorship and what audiences tolerate business model-wise because they still are not widely seen as consequential art or culture worthy of protecting in the way film etc is - so the space ends up being a laboratory for a bunch of evil shit
on the one hand most of these things are indeed illegal/harmful or at the v least off-putting when done by real humans irl otoh like half of them are in game of thrones
