Who's got 8 limbs and a day job? Me. Gonna be working retail as of tomorrow. Streams delayed until I figure out what my new schedule is. Love you and miss you, hatchlings. Sleep tight.
Hey, if your first response to seeing someone posting about being lonely is to respond about how you just stopped looking and someone fell in your lap, you're fucking weird. Would you do that for anything else!? "I stopped wanting food and just found a voucher for endless hamburgers! Hehe!" Fuck off

Someone go post this on Threads cuz I don’t have it?
It took a hot minute, but I can finally share my new paper on evidentiary pragmatism in transgender health care!

In it, I propose a new principle for evaluating scientific evidence based on the best reasonably achievable evidence, avoiding the ‘catch-22’ where trans care can never be justified.

"It's extremist to not want women undergoing constant sexual harassment to segregate you. And also to not want to be bombed, starved, or imprisoned by your neighbors. I'm the rational thinker here."
This is her response after someone said it was natural to sympathize with the oppressed, which was a response made to her initially saying that trans women are being radicalized like Palestinians because they want to be in women's locker rooms even if they have penises.

american's looking at the uk like 'holy shit that is bad' and, remember, it's our liberals who are in power.

Every one of these countries has strong fascist parties. The UK is run by Epstein-aligned fascists as we speak. Germany's AfD is gaining power constantly as Germany aligns with Israel against human rights. Italy has (or had) a descendant of Mussolini in office. Really?
It's great to live in a country (Canada, Japan, UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Italy, etc.) where citizens don't worry about if the next election will be canceled, if they will be allowed to register to vote, if they will have to stand in line for hours to vote, or if their vote will be counted.

a lot of ppl in the USA would’ve said this exact thing less than a decade ago, and a lot of ppl who live in countries with large far-right political movements rapidly gaining ground (often helped by the same tech billionaire players as here) seem too busy looking askance at the States to notice

This is why every absolute clown shoes moderation decision you've seen on this platform happened, and why it will never change. The intended audience is not the current user base.
Bluesky was literally meant to be a cryptobro social network for grifters, LinkedIn sludge, and libertarians who know way too much about age of consent laws.

Jack Dorsey *left* when instead of weird and off-putting cryptonerds, trans people started hanging out here.
Can you think of examples where people use technologies differently from what the developers intended, whether unintentionally or as an act of resistance?

May every pro-Newsom liberal be treated like a female athlete or trans kid under his desired policies every day from now until their death.

Also, in what way is being concerned about Epstein association being "lost in the weeds"? We all know that Epstein's associates were all working TOWARD authoritarian dictatorship. They talked about it a lot, openly, in their emails. Including Democrat donor Peter Thiel.

"I hope your birth certificate matches your ID" is a very telling line here. Because it's not secret that I'm a tranny, so of course it doesn't. Meanwhile, Democrats aren't exactly rallying AGAINST the SAVE Act. They still want KOSA and to fund the DHS, too!

Why the fuck do these idiots think we'll choose the other guys who want to do the same shit to us?

Find someone who doesn't want us sexually abused. This isn't that fucking hard.

I loathe that it's not real. For love and connection to be subject to the same forces of chance, skill, timing, and opportunity as everything else... for relationships to be so fraught, so... hard. For them to be so vulnerable to the ripple effects of trauma and hardship... is hateful and grotesque.
Love the concept of destiny in romantic fiction. It's really amazing, thinking there are people who are made for you, for whom you're made. People that fate and the very world twist to put you with.

Sucks that it's not real.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.

Turns out they hate tomboys and other masculine women. Who could have known? (The trans and lesbian communities knew and kept saying so).
After years of claiming that they're protecting lesbian women and girls, they are well on their way to making butch lesbian culture literally illegal.

Can this myth please die already? Take it from a therapist who works with tons of trans youth (and has many colleagues who also do so), kids aren't ending up in our office because they're mistaking normal gender-nonconformity for being trans.

I called to a specialist in Mexico City (from the same hospital I received my liver procedure, actually). The cost is over 50,000 pesos plus the trip and the stay. I have no choice but to make this my priority. Cortisone shots can only do so much. I'll keep pushing to get art done asap.
