my guess is liberal politics needs to keep cisness & heterosexuality as norms while carving out a minority place for transness. like the inaccuracy of "being gay is biological" what likely will be pushed is the inaccuracy of "trans/nb = on hrt or will go on it" [not endorsing this just predicting]

Once again, the people telling us to stop fighting so hard are doing so despite the fact that what we're asking for is to keep rights we've HAD. "Don't actively segregate us" is the moderate position, because the status quo is that we're not segregated.
Absolutely brain dead take. Trans people did start with employment, housing, and healthcare. There are cases dating back decades such as Smith v. Salem in 2004 and Glenn v Brumby in 2011! Many states passed anti discrimination laws well over a decade ago. He has no idea what he's talking about.
