Brianna's mum has the same attitude toward the details that they do, judging by her statements. Her apparent belief is that Brianna was MADE trans through the vector of social media, and that social media is therefore to blame for the loss. The way she talks frames transition as the actual death.

It just dawned on me. This means trans kids will have no support in schools. The Labour government brought in Section 28 2.0 so school staff can't be there to support trans kids. Now they are cutting off contact with the outside world. So for the duration of school trans kids are alone. Truly sick.

They're characterizing her having been trans as a result of overexposure to social media, and absolving her murderers of any real responsibility or guilt because they never would have had to murder her had she never learned that she had options and transitioned. It's grotesque.

Clearly, these phone pouches must create an anti-knife force-field around the owner.

My favorite part is that they're effectively spitting on the corpse by going on to do stupid shit like criminalizing hemp, in direct opposition to what their states have done on the state level in the last decade.

I'm just tired. To my knowledge, each of those Democrats represents a state that deliberately decriminalized those products on the state level. There aren't much clearer signs that they don't give the first fuck about what their voters want.

False. They're voting to criminalize hemp.
November 11, 2025 at 6:25 AM
Would love to see him explaining why he ALSO turned around to vote to criminalize hemp nationwide.

Unclear. It's wholly absurd the extent they're willing to go to in order to make it ABSOLUTELY clear to the voting public that they don't give a shit about what any of us wants. All of those states voted LOCALLY to legalize ALL OF THOSE THINGS. Why would LOYAL federal Senators do the opposite?

I appreciate that. I do my best. I'm better at articulating those points than I am at avoiding self-deprecation, obviously.

They promised there would be a vote.

Demanding that we fight united is an internal recrimination.

What, exactly, is the point of a party that cannot maintain focus and ideological priorities in the face of open fascism? When those 8 are excommunicated by the rest, and Schumer is removed from leadership, we can consider them outliers. Fucking weird that they're all retiring, though.
November 11, 2025 at 2:34 AM
We're not the ones splitting, actually. That would be the folks voting for the GOP to get all the shit they want.
November 11, 2025 at 2:28 AM
Our getting "back to" fighting united is like my getting "back to" being completely financially independent in a country that doesn't hate trannies, or some other place/circumstance I've never been to/in in the first place.
