Donald Trump’s approval rating has tanked and Republican suffered heavy losses in last week’s elections. There’s never been a better time for Senate Democrats to cave on the ACA extension.

Oh the FSAs.
The FSAs where you have to pay and get reimbursed.
So you're paying twice.
And have to keep track of receipts and take time to apply.
And assume you'll get the reimbursement from the federal offices they gutted.
And the reimbursement doesn't include the taxes you paid.

Those FSAs?
"A development that appeared to break the logjam: Republicans proposed that healthcare funding be provided directly to households rather than used to pay for a 1-year extension of ACA subsidies. That involves sending federal money into FSAs instead of insurance companies" www.wsj.com/politics/pol...
Republicans Pitch Alternative to ACA Extension to End Government Shutdown
A proposal by GOP senators to send money directly to consumers’ health accounts rather than to insurance companies showed signs of breaking a stalemate on negotiations.

@stevenruiz.bsky.social Hey loved your 25 questions piece - might need some editing on the Lions section. Devon Kennard has been retired since 2023 and it looks like you have him saying some of the things Kelvin Sheppard said.

This is actually a pretty great illustration of what the remnants of Twitter are doing to a bunch of otherwise-normal people right now. This is the stuff being pushed through its algorithms, so now *the guy with the Democrats account password* feels the need to weigh in on garbage discourse.
These idiots now feel the need to weigh in with agreement for whatever right-wing culture war outrage is currently going on. Morons.

These sick losers are getting everything they’ve always wanted. They’re ruining people’s lives and laughing about it. They’re tearing down things others built for fun. They’re making their enemies grovel.

But they will NEVER enjoy Pints With The Lads. They’ve been deemed unworthy by the Pint Gods.

This one was crueler than all four of those combined.
Man, Grigor Dimitrov looks like he blew out a pectoral muscle up two sets on Jannik Sinner. Playing the match of his life. Absolutely brutal.

Just saw a post where someone said that use of em dashes (—) was a giveaway that you're using AI for writing. Uh, no. It could just mean you like to use em dashes.

Why it matters:
This guts judicial review, a cornerstone of U.S. democracy. Courts are the only check on executive overreach. This section erases that check for some of the most destructive decisions the government can make.

What it means:
- If the government approves drilling, mining, or development, even illegally, you can’t sue.
- It applies retroactively, killing lawsuits already in progress.
- Tribes, environmental groups, citizens, even states, lose the right to challenge these approvals in court.

If you have a zoomer son named something like Jax you have to have your head on a swivel for YouTuber behavior all the time, regardless of whether your son has a YouTube channel
i would like to just move on from the shedeur prank call story but i'm struggling to do that because of the the facts that 1) it was an ole miss kid, 2) named jax, who 3) got the number from his dad's ipad because 4) his dad is the defensive coordinator of 5) the atlanta falcons
