Working through chapter 2 of Final Fantasy Tactics. Why on Earth did the cardinal need to bother to kidnap this princess who came to him for protection anyway if his plan was just to install her as queen? Surely a royal with enemies on both sides of a war going to him for protection implied that?

Mark is right to point out that this is an awesome play design but I would also like to add that it is simply one of the coolest things you’ll see on a basketball court. Buzzer beater alley oop inbound dunk to win 140-138 in OT!
Awesome SLOB game winner by Coach Spo.

Again I ask how this isn’t the exact sort of otherwise-fictional roving-gangs-of-violence activities that ICE supposedly exists to stop
a new genre of photo in the last year is federal agents working for ICE pointing guns directly at photographers

This hidden provision is so crooked and selfish, it doesn't even apply to US Representatives. Just US Senators.
Look at this new outrage. To open govt, we're retroactively letting 8 Senators sue for $500K each over having had their J6 phone toll records looked at. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/10/u...

Keon Ellis (not allowed to play until garbage time now for some reason) has outscored starting point guard Dennis Schröder (impossible to bench for some reason) in each of their last two games

Maxime Raynaud and Nique Clifford are going to be awesome in March when a bunch of these guys have been traded and Sabonis is out for the season to rest and tank

The lineup in right now (Ellis, Clifford, LaVine, Achiuwa, Sabonis) is at least moderately interesting

A clearly hurting Sabonis is still being asked to fight 1-on-2 for boards with Gobert and Reid down 25. I don’t think Doug Christie has been making good choices.

Playing OKC twice and Denver once in a week really seemed to break something in this group. Good thing they’ll see OKC again and Denver twice more before Murray is expected back…

Anthony Edwards just generated an open corner 3 by getting stripped at half court. Chased down the defender, back tapped the ball, saved it on a dive, found a teammate, and watched them find a cherrypicker open for 3. Pretty good, I fear.

I am amazed by how often the Kings give up an and-1 on a blowby that ends in an uncontested layup. So hard to get a foul up in the middle, after getting beat but before it could impact a shot.

Just a lot of bad basketball performances from Sacramento tonight. Particularly painful to watch Sabonis struggle in the post with Gobert, who he gave so many problems the past two years.

Everyone in the starting lineup but Zach LaVine did not need to start the second half. Sabonis has been as good as you can expect with multiple injuries, but he hasn’t been very good. Achiuwa at least has the excuse of being about as good as he’s going to be. DeMar and Schröder have been horrible.
