The people who didn't vote in '16 & '24 were low-engagement people who saw Obama & Biden's "recovery" leave people like them behind.

Rather than acknowledge that shortcoming, & work to address it, the people responsible attack the people who criticized them & predicted that outcome.

Every time.

american liberals dont want to win elections. they lose, call everyone who didnt vote for Dems stupid, call half the people who DID stupid, change nothing, run it back. it's important that such "stupid people" NOT vote for Dems, so that voting for Dems can continue to be an Educated, Elite position

The average KY school bus driver makes $15,364/yr. At that income they've received *nothing* from reducing the state's income tax. But under the House budget, their healthcare costs would soar $6,422/yr.

KY's richest 1%? They're getting $27,482/yr from the state income tax cuts.

The anti-trans propaganda push is one of the best examples I know of real-world disinformation in action.
Part 3: "The astronomical rise in stories about trans people that I’d collected over the previous year told a different story. This massive, messy dataset was brimming with increasingly vile headlines that only seemed to metastasize with time. ... two years later we know how the story turns out."
Welcome to the anti-trans outrage factory — Jessica Kant
When I first wrote Anatomy of a moral panic in February 2024, I had only a faint glimmer of what was to come. The astronomical rise in stories about trans people that I’d collected over the previous ye...

ICE using the same ruse that Ted Bundy used to kidnap people should tell you something.
CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.

This is an incredible photo.
Every photo from Minneapolis looks like this. Cops decked out with guns and full tac gear facing off against people in bathrobes, parkas, and sweatpants armed only with whistles and cell phones.

Yet every verified MAGA chode on X dutifully calls it a riot or violent insurrection.

REP. CORREA: One of your officers in Maine said to a protester, "We're gonna put your face in a little database." Do you?

ICE DIRECTOR: No sir, we don't.

CORREA: Then why do you think your ICE agent said those statements?

ICE DIRECTOR: I can't speak for that individual.
