Very disappointing from KC, who are all too happy to post Temwa’s many accomplishments and accolades all over their socials. Guess what? Protecting her from racism, bigotry, and transphobic rhetoric is far more important than anything she has done for your organization on the field, KC.
In keeping with this theme, I reached out to KC Current to see if they would be commenting on the issues below. They will not be issuing a separate statement outside of the one already issued by the league earlier today.
I have reached out to the Washington Spirit comms for comment on the recent comments from Elizabeth Eddy and Jennifer Sey.

A person who is the first probable measles case near Salt Lake City refuses to speak to the health department, so anyone they came into contact with can’t be warned.
