Mum & G/Mum, feminist, skinny-cino sipping progressive, social democrat. Hate neoliberal economics & trickle-up to big business. Want a people's revolution.
Plodding, stubborn & devious managerialism is no substitute when the public has a longing for some visionary & courageous leadership! Does the entire population need to take to the streets to get some change for the better in this country?

Albanese is a manager, not a leader, and it's inflicting real damage on the country
Anthony Albanese is all about political management, not genuine leadership. And his instinct merely to manage and not lead is inflicting serious harm on our social fabric.

Silencing the evidence: How Australia’s whistleblower inquiry buried the truth
A Senate Inquiry that promised whistleblower reform instead buried critical evidence, suppressed firsthand testimony and reinforced the very system that punishes those who speak out.

Howard didn’t invent a new political logic in 2001. He revived an old one.

From the White Australia policy to border security, the vocabulary changed. The instincts didn’t.

History doesn’t disappear. It waits for new language.

When history repeats itself: John Howard and the echo of 1901
The White Australia policy sought to secure the nation by controlling who could belong. John Howard sought to secure the nation by controlling who could arrive.

Zero.

TRUMP: We can grow at 15 percent. I think more than that!

KUDLOW: Well, 15 is a big number sir

TRUMP: But Larry, you can do it. We used to grow at 15 percent because we had spirit. Today we have a lot of communism

Inviting the Israeli president to Australia was another act of political management by Anthony Albanese — one we’re all paying the price for, writes Bernard Keane.

All these men. To the right, to the left. For years. Depraved, lying, indifferent to suffering. Men on podcasts & in newspapers saying the 'real' or 'worse' Epstein story is the power & influence. Not the violated girls & women, their lives derailed, worst fears realised. A curse on all these men.
Lutnick last year on his visit to Epstein's house in 2005: "My wife and I decided that I will never be in the room with that disgusting person ever again." (Lutnick testified under oath today that he visited Epstein's island in 2012.)
