Lover of musical theatre, pinball, travel, and highland cows (not always in that order). Never met a body of water I didn't want to put my feet in.
You know what would soothe the heart of this Blue Jays fan, LA friends?! You signing this petition.

Finally got around to reading this. Just when you think you’re finished crying about @bluejays.com baseball…
Last night’s loss at the Skydome has left me feeling heavier than I think I’ve ever felt about a game. But the past month I've felt so much special warmth and love towards this city, and I know I'm not alone. Here's to our city and our Blue Jays.

So tired of having corrupt, ideologically-driven babies in charge of everything. Green roofs are a tiny expense that guard against flooding, decrease energy bills, and employ an industry.
From Marco Chown Oved and me: The Ford government has quietly killed Toronto’s green roof bylaw, a policy that propelled the city to become a world leader in environmental construction www.thestar.com/news/gta/dou...
Doug Ford quietly kills Toronto’s green roof bylaw
Since the bylaw came into force in 2009, more than 1,200 green roofs have been installed across the city.

Zohran is stone cold man. Putting out an ad in Arabic after all the Islamophobic shit that’s been thrown his way? Pure swag.

Dems don’t need to copy his politics or even necessarily his campaign strategy, they need to learn how to grow a fucking spine.

I worked with Ellen in my first room and was in awe - she was brilliant, hilarious and always so sharp. Will never forget sitting outside the studio with she and the fab Meredith Vuchnich simultaneously laughing and crying about the many very commercials that made us weep. Rest well, lady.
I heard the awful news last night that the wonderful, one-of-a-kind tv writer Ellen Vanstone passed away last week. A former journalist, Ellen had a wicked sense of humour, a great laugh, and no time for bullshit - especially her own. 1/2

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

Mamdani did this without tacking to the center by accepting republican framing and throwing marginalized people under the bus or even apologizing for being socialist; something that party operatives who actually want to win might learn from.
Across the city, more than 164,000 New Yorkers flocked to the polls this weekend for the first two days of early voting, according to the Board of Election, a staggering turnout that nearly matches the entire early voting count in 2021.

Turnout was massive across all five boroughs, with voters telling THE CITY that they were motivated to vote for — and against — the Democratic nominee.
