How many more girls and women have to suffer before we start taking this kind of thing seriously?
NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

It's me, too. And all but one woman I know. I'm 56 and know a LOT of women. I only know one who has not (yet) been assaulted.
It's in the fucking name. That it happens to so many of us that it's never just the one person who is harmed.

It's me, too.

That was the entire point of #metoo. That one woman wasn't even enough. That a man had to derail the careers of dozens before people started saying "oh yeah maybe we shouldn't let him ruin the careers of so many people."

Remember: The concentration of wealth in the hands of a few isn't just bad for our economy. It's corrosive to our democracy.

When the wealthy and well-connected control our political system, regular people don't have a voice.

The result? The demagoguery and corruption we're seeing now.

I saw the most bonkers conversation on tiktok where people were arguing that Romance doesn’t need an HEA and authors were fighting for their lives in the comments trying to explain what a genre convention is. Again, trying to sell me a mystery with no crime and see what happens.
God we need more craft discussions and less fights about which tropes are good or bad that play out in a way that makes it clear no one even understands what a trope is anymore.
Romance should evolve, but its so clear when people want the shine and financial benefit of Romance without respecting the genre, its conventions, or the readers. It's disturbing, but not surprising that we've arrived in a place where CRAFT DOESNT MATTER is a thing people believe.

Iceland has declared the potential collapse of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation an "existential threat." If the AMOC collapses this century as predicted, it would have a catastrophic impact on global weather, climate and sea level.

A crucial system of ocean currents may be on course to collapse. This country just declared it a national security threat | CNN
Without warm currents from the South Atlantic, Iceland would be much icier and stormier. Now, those currents are at risk of collapse and the country is preparing for this “existential threat.”

Same.

Being bipolar doesn't MAKE you a Nazi, anymore than five shots of tequila make you a racist, or a hard day at work plus being cut off in traffic makes you resort to violence.

That was already part of you. It just got off the leash.

As someone whose family came here to escape Franco, it's hilarious to me that people think any dictator can't or won't do something. The law does not matter. The system does not matter. I heard this from people before the election and I'm like, tell it to my ancestors who didn't make it.

The Democrats’ problem is not age—it’s corporate and centrist Democrats of all ages. What distinguishes some of the most successful young Democrats is not just their youth but the fact that they are compelling progressive populists.

A dear friend is a Starbucks union leader. Starbucks bullies & intimidates employees for trying join unions. They use dirty tricks like denying raises & cutting hours if employees mention unions. The close profitable stores because they're unionized.

Fuck Starbucks. I stand with the workers.
BREAKING: After months of stonewalling by Starbucks, unionized baristas just voted 92% to authorize a ULP strike unless Starbucks finalizes fair contracts & stops union busting.

If forced, our baristas will strike in dozens of cities on November 13 – the company's busiest sales day of the year.
Starbucks unionized workers say they'll strike on Nov. 13 if coffee giant doesn't finalize contract
Union members say they are ready to strike on the chain's Red Cup Day if Starbucks doesn't finalize a contract with their union by then.
