What the pardons do is tell people it’s okay to break the law if you don’t get the result you want. The “fake electors” is the best example - they created false documents making them appear to be real electors and were poised to present them to VP Pence. It was election fraud, pure and simple.

As a country, we’re so attached to our view that we can’t reduce emissions without hurting the economy that we’ve failed to see that it’s all a lie. It should hurt that China has proven our view wrong, but I’m sure we’ve got an explanation for that, too.
