My non-profit has partnered with creators Mr. Beast and Mark Rober to raise 40 million dollars for clean water access around the world as part of #TeamWater. We hit 10 million today but still have 30 million left to go. If you can donate, every dollar counts! teamwater.org

"We don't believe in erasing American history—we honor it," says the guy working for the government that mandated that the website for the Stonewall National Monument erase all mentions of the word "transgender."
Here is Pete Hegseth's tweet announcing the return of the Confederate monument to Arlington National Cemetery. The plan is to restore it and reinstall in 2027.

It's important to point out that this monument was never referred to as a "Reconciliation Monument."

We need a word for someone who is beyond perverse, sadistic, sociopathic. Blocking mRNA vaccine research means that you or someone you love will die of something you could have avoided or survived. He is intentionally killing people.
RFK Jr. cuts $500 million in mRNA vaccine contracts, dealing major blow to promising area of research
The cuts add to mounting evidence that Kennedy is pursuing an aggressive anti-vaccine agenda.

My coworker @chafkin.bsky.social got ahold of an internal white paper from Fetcherr, the AI pricing company that is working with Delta and other airlines to make fare prices even more erratic for consumers. It details what the company calls the “exploitation phase”: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Arrested on a reported (purported? still no charging papers) claim of assault by cops who'd already thinking about putting him in handcuffs.
A reporter from The City had overheard one agent say to another minutes before Lander’s arrest, “Do you want to arrest the Comptroller?”

I spoke with someone at the Blade just now and they said the Park Service issued a statement early this morning that they had rejected DC Police's request to rescind the order. So, this is a Trump/Park Service thing.

Shortly after coming to power, the regime orders a massive military parade in the nation’s capital, to be held on the regime leader’s birthday - symbolizing the regime’s claim that the leader embodies the nation.

This should be anathema in a democratic republic. It’s insulting and dangerous.
Constitution Avenue has been selected as the main route for Trump’s Jun. 14 military parade, so for once “trampling on Constitution” will be more than a metaphor for him.
Here's what we know about Trump's June 14 D.C. military parade

The press secretary is texting reporters saying that China's tariffs of 34% are already on top of the 20% tariffs so effectively there will be a 54% tax on all goods from China. iPhones will be $1,500-1,700 now?

So we’re clear, tariffs combined with tax cuts for the wealthy is just upward transfer of wealth. It’s regressive taxation. People who make money by not working get to keep more of it, while people who work spend a larger percentage of their dwindling income on a worse standard of living.
