I'm glad everyone is in agreement that #ParadiseHulu Episode 7 is a phenomenal episode of television. It is a deeply uncomfortable vehicle for all of Sterling K. Brown's emotions and his character's sense of duty.

...The idea that addiction treatment is DISEASE MANAGEMENT like diabetes, is important. Addiction is not a "moral failing" it's a chronic, biological condition where drugs change your body's ability to experience pleasure in an appropriate, consistent way.

AA moved my layover from just about 2 hours to 1 hour and 35 min in Miami, which requires immigration, collecting and rechecking bags. Seems a bit tight in the best case scenario but I'll 100% miss it if my first flight is delayed.

Got some credits at work through our travel booking platform for booking on behalf of other people for recent conferences and got a night in this really nice Bogotá hotel with private heated pool for $40.

New bar opened up in Bogotá which has a Brutalist/Berlin aesthetic but the cocktails are incredible and they have a great sound system. It feels so welcoming and not pretentious, too.

Arepa de huevo is one of the joys of Colombian Costeño food. You fill an arepa with an egg and then fry it to perfection. You can serve it with a suero - a type of thinned sour cream.
