Well, this is outrageous. Florida man keeps bees on a lot he owns. Neighboring lot was sold, new owner came in in JULY and cleared beekeeper’s *20* hives and cut down his trees. Same day, Beekeeper learns of this, new neighbor claims it was a mistake, will fix! He got 14 of his hives back on 11/25.

Choosing to leave these people in these positions would compound harm. I agree with my colleagues that we need to consider ways to depoliticize higher ed boards (and we have some ideas of how to do that) but the current Governor and AG of VA are not the ones to politicize it.

Folks saying this is just as bad, I need you to reread about reconstruction. Not holding people accountable is how we get into this position. Removing people who colluded with the administration in an authoritarian takeover of higher ed from their position is the most reasonable thing to do.

Me outlining the conclusions the tribunal reached is not me endorsing them. Especially when I emphasised repeatedly that this is a first instance decision and non-binding. I'm really not sure what more I can do to make my position on this clear - it has quite literally been my entire life since FWS.
