A pliosaur vertebra from the Etches Collection sporting a notochordal boss, an embryonic remnant. These are common in ankylosaur verts but not uncommon in #IsleofWight posterior dorsal and early caudal iguanodontian centra. Rarely reported elsewhere it seems. #FossilFriday

On Oct 30, the Justice Dept was ordered to explain why it "sealed" (pulled down) its orginial sentencing memo in the case of Taylor Taranto. The original memo cited January 6 & the mob attack on Capitol

Yes, there was a time when the consensus opinion was that strangers should be able to find your phone number and address, and you had to pay extra to have an "unlisted" number.
In my experience many youngish people are stunned that there may have been a big (or several big) books delivered to your home which listed your name, address and phone number.

It’s either a complete accident that Larry Summers is still a go-to guy for established Democratic Party-aligned institutions, or it’s no accident.
Jesus Christ! In the 1990s this guy was one of the main villains responsible for the deregulation spree that caused the 2008 crash. Why are these guys indispensable! Any moron off the street can say "Duhh taxes and regulation are bad"
