Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

"If you see something that doesn't look right, report it to staff or British Transport Police".

Okay then: I'd like to report the entire rail network. That's not right at all.
A paean to privatised public transport.

Today I had to go from Stockport to Salisbury. So I bought a ticket

Stockport > Bristol > Salisbury

The drive to Stockport should have taken 35 minutes. Satnav said it would take 2 hours, and I'd miss my train.

So I went to Macclesfield, where I found...

❌ That equates to billions of pounds in lost revenue for British businesses every year.

Had a big fight with this woman who dumped this 3-month kitten in tiny cage behind a fancy spa since last Thurs in temps often well above 30C. She claimed it’s a stray, but she knew nothing about dealing with strays. She agreed in the end to let me take it to the vet hosp opposite.

All the shifts are in just one direction.

They should be setting the agenda, not chasing about trying to placate voters of a party with five MPs who will never vote for them anyway.
