Had a big fight with this woman who dumped this 3-month kitten in tiny cage behind a fancy spa since last Thurs in temps often well above 30C. She claimed it’s a stray, but she knew nothing about dealing with strays. She agreed in the end to let me take it to the vet hosp opposite.

A happy story, and a boost for Anglo-Chinese relations. Found this little guy earlier today, wandering around in the cold. Took him over to local vet, asked her to post on WeChat, & was able to reunite him with his elderly owner, who was most grateful.

This orange (ginger) boy, is wearing a cone of shame, because for the 2nd time, he has somehow got a huge hole in his butt. Hole too gruesome to show. But he lets dogs lick his butt. Now, he has to go to the vet every day, & yells all the way there, & all the way back

This dog literally hates this cat (she lives with other cats & tolerates them all). I don’t know why. Cat just ignores the growling. No idea who got in the bed first. Dog doesn’t have many teeth left however. She is a former independent street dog & likes things her way.

Tried this newish (6 months) cafe finally on the outer edge of Chaoyang Park, pet friendly, quite the spot for influencers. Have seen ppl with dogs, cats, rabbits, they also do events like plays, discos at night. Nice staff.

First tweet on coming over from the other place. Hopefully cat Twitter, which is mostly a safe place, can come over. This cat, who may look innocent, bit 4 people when last at the vet. One had to go to a clinic. I did warn them though, & they just opened the crate anyway.
