I am willing to give one of these a go if somebody else makes one for me, but I think there must be more to the sleeves. Loose, open sleeves and beehives Do Not Mix.
I think medieval beekeeper outfits could be the strongest look in the entire history of fashion.

everyone gets so mad at the mods here for doing basic mod shit. sometimes you gotta make a little murder joke and eat a three day ban for it. that’s life baby, there’s beauty in that.

the ~emails~ have me thinking once again about how cishet white dudes will say the worst guys in history are "nice guys, he's a good guy!" because they've had some pleasant conversations and the actual standard of being a Good Guy is whether they can be kind to someone who's NOT a cishet white guy

It’s embarrassing that anyone actually believed the rich people would actually leave their nice elite enclaves in highly-developed states
NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

Tax the rich. Greg Ryan in @bloomberg.com:
Millionaire Tax That Inspired Mamdani Fuels $5.7 Billion Haul in Massachusetts
A millionaire levy in Massachusetts that New York City mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani holds up as a model for taxing the rich has generated $3 billion more in revenue than expected without forcing...

Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."

the point of camo for a soldier is to obscure their position from the enemy. camo in an urban environment is completely different, and this forest green or desert pattern is functionally useless.

police only dress this way to project an image of power they should not have.

what gets me about so many AI tools right now is that they're tasks that *do not require AI*. I'm old enough to remember when programmers cared about minimizing the amount of processing power their tools required!!
Google is infusing AI into just about every part of online shopping: browsing for products, calling local stores to ask about inventory (!!), and actually purchasing the item for you. This is a warning shot to influencers and news orgs doing buying guides:

Google will let users call stores, browse products, and check out using AI
There have never been more options for things to buy. Google is betting AI is how shoppers will make decisions.

The thing about Mamdani is that he’s a talented politician but not otherworldly or one in a billion, he’s just a competent guy with popular ideas who ran against an entitled piece of shit and to me it’s a lot more optimistic to imagine 1000 campaigns like his than to view him as a unique phenomenon

At risk of flogging a dead horse: this whole letter is a reminder that the creative process is an end in and of itself, and vital to self-actualisation. You can’t experience BECOMING, as he puts it, by outsourcing it to ChatGPT.
In 2006 a high school English teacher asked students to write to a famous author & ask for advice.

KURT VONNEGUT - born 103yrs ago today - was the only one to respond.

His reply was a doozy.

James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."
