VERY much appreciate a heads up on comedians being in movies, it is both an incentive to go see and sufficient advance notice to not leave an audient spluttering "WHAT!?" in their seat at eg a Brett Goldstein reveal at the end of Thor: Love And Thunder.
If you’re going to see “Wuthering Heights” this week, keep an eye out for this guy!*

*well, the back of his head and voice anyway…a bit of a shame you don’t get to see the rest of me as I thought hair and costume did a good job! But tbf Jacob Elordi is probably hotter

If you have no plans for Valentine's Day, why not hire a team of identical moustachioed men and a family pack of triangular bandages and stage an avant-garde fashion show?

I wonder if the Home Office has considered it could just accept the judgement of the court and stop dying on this terrible, pointless, vote-losing hill?
Palestine Action ban ruled unlawful but group remains proscribed for now - live updates
Three judges rule against the Home Office in a massive blow to the government, but say the ban must remain until a further hearing.

I've not really told you lot about books you can buy from me for a day or two.

(YOU CAN BUY ANY BOOK AT ALL FROM ME BTW. YOU JUST HAVE TO ASK!)

I've got a few tasty signed books you might like.

10pm. The perfect time to do this.

Here we go.

“We can’t have eggs and eat chicken too”.

Have you ever thought “We need something better than ‘you can’t have your cake & eat it, too?’” Well you’re in luck. Lance Corporal T. Lloyd Harber’s letter to his sisters Margaret & Marie on 10 March 1945 provides this alternative.

I am one of the most published academics on the childhood social transition, with 5 peer reviewed articles that relate to the topic.

There is so much evidence of benefit of social transition.

There is no evidence of harm. Not one jot.

This will literally kill trans kids. No exaggeration.

After a spirited discussion of poisoned mushrooms v drowning in the bath between dad and his friend:
Teenager: Do you two always have to talk about killing people?!
Dad: We're not talking about killing people - I'm talking about killing Herb and he's talking about killing me.
I've got a Hitchcock (Shadow of a Doubt) on in the background and a teenage girl just asked her younger sister what time the library closes.
Sister: If you read as much as you ought to, you'd know it closes at nine!
So that told HER.
