Afternoon Fox! They've come out to co-ordinate with the autumn leaves and have a really good sniff around - near the pigeons, who are surprisingly unbothered.

Trying times - trying not to eat more than I can realistically digest. Not pictured, glass of ice cold rosé.

Current status: on a vintage train, purely for the joy of it.

A 14th century Annunciation, aka "Say whaaaaat?".

I love this play and think Lesley Manville will be incredible; I'm having some trouble taking Aidan Turner seriously with this facial hair.

I was bribed by thIs £1.50 breakfast into going to IKEA on a Saturday; I KNOW. Got there before 10am, picked up the things I needed, got lucky in the reuse/recycle bit and made it out by 11.30, without buying tea lights OR a hot dog.
Plate of full English (Swedish) breakfast; two sausages, two rashers of bacon, two hash browns, a wedge of fried tomato, semi circle of omelette and a blob of baked beans; obligatory ketchup on the side.

This email's from a decent-sized venue, with at least one paid marketing person. It does contain dates and ticket links for these artists (whose names you can barely read), but you can only see that by highlighting the entire email with a mouse. This is why we send test emails, to phone + desktop!

If you enjoy being warm and frugal, I hugely recommend charity shop cashmere. This beauty just arrived: 100% cashmere, no bobbles, holes or marks and cost me £25 including postage.

I went to a big firework display tonight, which I haven't done for years - it was fun! Loads of fireworks, a mild, dry night and a mug of mulled wine. 10/10 fireworking, would recommend.
