Call me crazy, but threatening a bunch of soldiers with death for legal insubordination seems like the fastest way to foment an insurrection against you

Mainstream news covered the Jeffrey Epstein emails related to ppl like Trump. Today, I want to take a look at Epstein's correspondence with prominent atheist and physicist Lawrence Krauss, who asked the pedophile's advice on responding to accusations of sexual assault skepchick.org/2025/11/so-i...

There's something kind of sick about this headline. Like they honestly can't see the value of morality in itself, they can only think about things in terms of winning the game.
Imagine looking around America in 2025 and thinking, "What we need less of is morality."

Even before our current level of LLM technology emerged autocomplete had already destroyed at least half of my spelling capability. That's not so terrible as it's mostly memorization of exceptions to general rules, but the way ppl use LLMs to reason or decide for them is scary
No. The chief problem is, AI is literally A TOOL FOR UNLEARNING. The more you use it, the worse you get at whatever it is you’re using it for. It’s the opposite of educating, it’s uneducating. 2/2

Even though I am not the biggest Power Rangers/Sentai person I admit I have always had a bit of a soft spot for how batshit the monsters can be. One moment you have your bog standard kaiju fodder then the next you are battling an insane pizza chef.

This isn't insane. It's just how an authentic Italian pizza chef looks
Didn't get to watch the game live last night, but the team acquitted themselves better than I could've expected. Final score doesn't reflect how hard they fought. I think we've got the guys we want shooting taking shots. Melvin could shoot less from outside, but otherwise the balance is there. Now

A reminder that the Salvation Army is not a worthy charity. They use charity as a vehicle for pushing their cruel, regressive values on the vulnerable.

This map only further reinforces my belief that Kansas is going to be a swing state in a few election cycles. Probably 2032 at the earliest, but I doubt later than 2040

Sounds like there's some real smoke for Stokes to Kansas. I'm not gonna get over my skies on this but if we pull it off it'll pretty much be the biggest recruiting coup of all time. More than makes up for some of those tough lay minute misses
