Folks are asking why this sort of behavior is "tolerated" from black bloc and I'd invite them to remember that during Unite the Right, black bloc intervened where cops wouldn't and likely saved the lives of more mainstream-appearing protesters multiple times.

anyways - back to saving democracy, which is being done by the poor people that keep your local hospitals and stores and restaurants going. they pay rent. and can't get loans to buy investment property.

💯 Every investment comes with risk. You want a guaranteed return and can’t tolerate or afford risk put your money in a HYSA or CDs and call it a day. No one would come help me out if I bought stocks that crashed, so I don’t buy them. Not sure why housing investors/landlords should get an exception.

Abolish investment real estate. Homes should be for people and families not for people who can already afford their own home but want more money and push rents up to the top limit of what the market will tolerate and force people to share homes, have three side hustles to afford rent, etc.

Well investments aren’t supposed to be sure things, that’s the whole justification given for why you get to profit off others’ work. Suck it up, parasite, sometimes you fucking lose.
You might want to know that many landlords are like myself: work full-time, and rent out house bought as investment for income. Bank loan gotta get paid along with the rest of expenses. Corporations, sure, I agree. But COVID moratorium screwed me very badly, more debt. So might want to keep in mind.

Oh but of course Marc Hauser was an Epstein pal. A fraud who faked his data. One of my very first R4 docs was on him and his work, on the evolution of morality. Other Harvard colleagues refused to comment, one trembling with fear when I asked him.
For those of us who were grad students at Harvard in the 1990s it’s interesting to read Marc Hauser’s correspondence with JE, through the lens of Hauser’s subsequent departure from Harvard bc of scientific misconduct.

Just experienced the most intense tear gassing of my life by federal officers outside the ICE facility in Portland where marchers gathered. There was no fast exit as they indiscriminately threw loads of gas and flash bangs. Children were in the crowd screaming. @oregoncapitalchronicle.com

Just got gassed pretty good at the labor union anti-ICE protest in Portland. Massive march, 5-10k strong. Vibes were very much liberal rather than radical. Lots of kids and older folks.
They gassed the whole crowd as soon as it marched on ICE, in broad daylight.
