@radiofreetom.bsky.social so, sorry to her you had to suffer through his and hers as well.

Do you feel like in a good mystery, the clues should be there throughout so that a clever one might figure it out.

Just making something completely up and adding it at the end is… silly. As we saw

I was watching a documentary about a murder in my hometown, and what struck me was not how poor it was, but how every single person they spoke to had a *ton* of body ink.

Nothing against body art. (I have some, including one that cost some bucks even back in the day.) But that's some big bucks.
Thank you!

My niece can't pay rent, but CAN afford:
ALL meals out somewhere
Crazy expensive long natural hair extensions
Monthly 'subscription' for salon shampoo/blowouts
Outrageous acrylic nails & designs
Cruises
Long weekend getaways...
Affordability is an issue. We also have a PRIORITIES issue

@radiofreetom.bsky.social asked this before, sorry if I’m being a bit, but really curious: have you played stellaris? It’s everything I wanted civilization to do in terms of detail, but on a galactic setting.

Also the new expanse game looks fun

Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.

Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

Yes, we were right to warn about the danger of the entire post-9/11 proto-authoritarian response under GWB way back then.
"Since its founding in 2002, a combination of organizational flaws and mission creep has allowed D.H.S. to evolve into the out-of-control domestic security apparatus we have today, one that views the very people it is supposed to protect as threats, not humans."

These people are astonishing. No shame.

Just zero shame or self-awareness.

ICE and CBP agents seem to enjoy gratuitously breaking glass—from car windows to store fronts to homes. It’s an expression of unchecked power and dominance: “We’re in charge. We break and shatter what we want.”

And nights of broken glass have been a harbinger of worse to come.
