I keep seeing people claiming Senate Dems were “lied to” because they were promised a vote on extending the enhanced ACA tax credits and now House Republicans are refusing to hold that vote.
The SENATE was promised a vote. And they held it . Nearly 2 weeks ago. It failed. As expected.

I will be cutting off my regular donations to ProPublica. I will not have my money used to steal from me and other artists and writers, no matter how good of work they do otherwise. I encourage anyone else concerned about generative AI to register concerns with them as well.

in IDAHO, that isn't the case--midnight tonight is the ONLY deadline. If you miss it, you're SOL for all of 2026.

Victor is right. Promotion of the word "wokeness" allows right-wingers to pretend their racism and sexism is issues-oriented rather than hate-oriented.
Conservatives rebranded bigotry and every time the media uses “wokeness” as a euphemism they are helping a movement that it quite literally erasing the history marginalized people’s role in American life.
