The news is going to be terrible every single day for the foreseeable future. Do not get wrapped up in the daily discourse. Think about what role you can play IRL to help the ppl around you. There’s probably ppl already doing what you think should be doing, join them. If not - GO DO IT! We need you.
One solid way you can fight back today & everyday is to look out for your neighbor, & not just in theory. If you’re in LA, someone in your building probably needs a mask. Someone living outside probably needs a meal. That person being stopped by the cops needs someone to record what’s happening.
The way forward is the same as it’s always been - organize your neighborhood, your household, your workplace. Nobody is coming to save us except ourselves. Look out for one another.

I would say the USA is returning to its self-imposed cultural, historical, moral recession which it existed in until just a few years ago.
The war against DEI reflects the desire of millions to return to the old lies and omissions of truth which poisoned the USA since its birth.
