Never forget that one of the people raging about how it was ableist and cultural appropriation to bring the chili was a landlord who was also looking for ways to hint at their tenants that they're polyamourous so their tenants would know they're cool. Or something.
I can't actually remember: why did people get mad about this very nice gesture that was well received by the neighbors?
Two years and two days ago, a woman delivered some chili to her new neighbors. Everyone was very happy and normal and there were no lasting effects.

My political hot take: Bruce Harrell would have won if he hadn't made that joke about bringing back the Supersonics. You cannot make jokes about the Sonics in this city. Even almost 20 years later, everyone still takes it very personally. You just can't and then be re-elected mayor.
