These guys show we don’t need a “liberal Joe Rogan”, what they need is a Democratic Party that gives a shit and stops hiding behind questionable polling to excuse inaction

The good news is that we don't need to read the report. Voters hate the party and we hate the leadership. The country is literally coming apart at the seams and we blame you. Entirely. Hide all you want, we know who's at fault. And we know who the consultants are. You're fucked. I promise.
BREAKING: The Democratic National Committee will NOT release its long-awaited autopsy on Trump's 2024 win. The report is completed but Dem leaders decided it could distract from their winning streak, so it will remain secret. Not good.

Dem Leaders Decide to Bury Damning Report on Why Trump Won in 2024
The Democratic National Committee has completed its long-awaited analysis on what went wrong in the 2024 campaign. But in a move that will attract intense criticism, it’s keeping the findings secret.

Yeah because it tells them that their donor first, alienating, milquetoast nothing platform and genocide denial isn't particularly popular

At this point is it even morally defensible to attend an Ivy League school? No shade at the students there, but if I was a smart kid with a choice to make i would intentionally steer clear of these heinous institutions

The concept of "terrorism" needs to be excised from political speech and thought. It can only lead to the subversion of law, international and otherwise, by delineating a group of people that can be targeted with impunity. The people deemed "terrorists" only grows. This is a long time coming
Trump: "Venezuela is completely surrounded by the largest Armada ever assembled ... It will only get bigger, and the shock to them will be like nothing they have ever seen before — Until such time as they return to the USA all of the Oil, Land, and other Assets that they previously stole from us."

FYI it's not too late to ship your loved ones a 30 ounce sealed container of high quality canned Cougar Gold cheese straight from the University of Washington and have it arrive before Christmas. nothing says "i love you" like cheese that can be aged indefinitely

They’re still charging the same tuition I assume? So these degrees are turning into pure debt machines where you have to be able to shoulder that burden to enter a particular pool of work and that’s it?
Carnegie Mellon’s literature PhD is being liquidated in favor of “computation,” casualized labor, and AI.

That has profound ramifications for, students, faculty, and program alums like myself.

I wrote it about it (w/ Catherine Evans, a current PhD student).

The Trumpist right getting more cravenly evil, to the point where even Republican lawmakers and Truth social posters are starting to distance themselves, will be an opportunity for GOP politicians to whitewash their role in ushering in the demise of civil society

This motherfucker thinks social media is where the battle is fought, lmfao, a true dipshit who can think only in terms of spectacle
IMO it's hard to combat the dangerousness of the right by participating in a platform where they aren't present.
I think the best way to explain the X vs Bluesky preference is whether a person thinks the left is more annoying than the right is dangerous.

The reason so many Noah Smiths end up on the X side of that equation is that while the left annoys them personally, the right mostly endangers other people.

The reason for this is that Republicans have a stink that we smell coming, giving us the ability to screen out the Nazis before we even have to interact

I think that regardless of a bubble popping there is going to be a slow building social reaction against this shit. I have yet to meet one person irl who likes AI and as shit like this mounts and people see the cognitive decline it causes there will be a backlash. If not, goodbye, humanity

Significant statement from Jeffries and House Democratic leaders saying they will vote “present” on the motion to table Al Green’s resolution to impeach President Trump. They say they’re “laser-focused on fighting to lower the high cost of living” plus on health care and corruption.

It's funny how smug you are for someone who helped Trump get elected with your nihilistic "all politicians are the same" narrative. You and your far-left groups are partly to blame for Trump winning. That is why Putin amplifies you.

Love that they're reporting this like a college football recruitment. As if Allah is making a strong late push with a pumped up NIL deal and Christ is trying to hold em off by promising Freshman playing time and access to a stronger alumni network
are we supposed to be placing bets on this or something
