Lets be specific here: Republicans have dutifully changed their opinions.

Like so many other issues in this era, what we can see in a chart like this is Dems & Indies living mostly in reality and Republicans off on their own in an alt reality wholly controlled by the diktats of their cult leader.
And the trend goes both ways, by the way.

The US government is telling Americans to hate Europeans and Canadians. And many have dutifully changed their opinions.

American star Alysa Liu overcame a delay en route to the Milano Skating Arena caused by Vice President JD Vance’s motorcade and finished second in the women’s short program at the Olympics team event.

“We almost didn’t make it,” her coach said.
Nothing could stop the U.S. figure skating team. Not even JD Vance’s motorcade.
Alysa Liu and world champion dance team of Madison Chock and Evan Bates have the Americans leading the team event after day one.

the economic strangulation of a tiny island country was never justified in any way but just from a strategic perspective it’s insane to me that it has persisted for 35 years after the Cold War ended

Liberals going “oh so you oppose Israel but you aren’t protesting other genocides [that aren’t being committed with the full-throated support of the U.S. government]” is the “why didn’t you protest when Laken Riley was murdered?” of genocide. Liberals really don’t realize how close to MAGA they are.

This is bleak: Jes Staley, currently CEO of Barclays, reassuring Epstein that popular revolt against financial elites is unlikely because capitalism and pop culture have defanged social movements, leaving people more invested in consumption than justice.

production of The Muppet Show should not be dependent on petty vulgarities like “ratings” or “revenue.” it should be preserved as a vital function of american culture. it should have a taxpayer-funded budget rivaling the CIA

Check out what this is in reply to lol. Quote posts disabled—I wonder why!!
I don’t know why you think this fight is productive. You’re really going to blame voters for not voting for someone who was supporting a genocide rather than the politician for ending support of a genocide? Really? That’s really your take? That’s how you plan to win going forward? Really?

Wow if only someone could have warned them about all this stuff literally a decade ago. If only SOMEone had pointed out Trump is a corrupt racist piece of shit. If only ANYbody had the foresight to predict all this. Damn. Oh well, better go back to ignoring and dismissing everything the left says.
Three-time Trump voter: I'm looking at this awful picture of the Obamas. What an embarrassment to our country. He is not worthy of the presidency. He takes bribes blatantly, and now he's being a racist blatantly. He's pathetic as a president, and I want to apologize for supporting this rotten man.

NJ-11, big election tomorrow. Please show up for Analilia Mejia!

Elections obviously won’t be enough to fix this mess but democracy is still important and showing up for progressives can make a difference and show the Democratic establishment that they’re wrong to embrace centrism.

Newsom’s press team thinks Leavitt in a hanbok is a real takedown, because, in the end, most centrist political comedy is as racist and simplistic as anything the right churns out.

Saw a post where a libertarian was lamenting using bitcoin as it funded Epstein’s monstrous atrocities, but like… that’s all of capitalism. That’s all of it. They took the value of our collective labor and used it to molest and traffic and murder kids on islands and private jets and wherever.

The "purity test" line you've been trotting out for a decade no longer resonates with anyone but fellow Blue Uber Alles cultists, Oliver Shillis.
Leftists have this thing that purity outweighs practicality and that’s dumb. But liberals have this thing that we can’t demand better and just have to accept the suck. That’s stupid too.

The same people who insisted Democrats were molesting kids in the non-existent basement of a D.C. pizza place based on a handful of leaked emails about food orders are feeding their souls into paper shredders to dismiss mountains of documents and emails detailing true horrors involving Republicans.

Ultimately there’s little material difference between Trump bragging he could shoot someone on Fifth Ave and still get votes and Democrats expecting people’s votes no matter how much they ignore our values and needs.

If you are willing get another protester put on a terrorist database and possibly sent to jail over some light vandalism (and I'm sorry, but setting trash on fire is absolutely light vandalism, no one's torching houses here), you are a danger to movement.

There’s no reforming it.

There’s no compromise.

There’s only one way to rein in ICE’s terror campaign. Abolish it.
