Kindness is as critically underrated as it is monumentally important.
I really hope someone can help me with this.

I want to ditch my Substack login, but I still want to receive the emails with the great writing I subscribe to there, until the writers (I hope) move to other platforms.

(I'd tag some of them for added visibility, but that feels like snitch-tagging.)
I need some Substack help from y'all.

I have a Substack login. I subscribe to a bunch of writers who use the platform. I read all of them in my email inbox, not on the Substack site or app.

If I cancel my Substack account, will I still get the emails? Or will I have to resubscribe to everyone?

Super Bowl viewers Sunday speculated that 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos appeared in the halftime show. In fact, he has been in hiding with his family.

“He can’t sleep well at night. He wakes up three or four times a night screaming, ‘Daddy, Daddy,’” Liam's father Adrian Conejo Arias, said.

1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.

Hundreds of kids are still detained.

We’ll let the children’s words speak for themselves. 🧵

Go big (screen) or go home?

It took just seven years for the Motion Picture Academy to go from launching the Academy Screening Room, so members could stream movies at home, to canceling in-person screenings of Oscar-nominated films due to declining attendance.

Anyone could have seen this coming (no pun intended), but they made and sold them anyway.

This was no accident, à la the oft-repeated Ian Malcolm quote from Jurassic Park (scientists so preoccupied, etc.) – they just didn’t care this would happen, and who would be targeted.

Please unfollow him and do not repost.

Although he steals everything, Horton was recently verified by Bluesky.
