I have bsky randomly inserting posts from the feeds I follow (just 4 I pruned) into my following feed and the Science feed is either THE COOLEST geeky stuff or a post where I stare at it for 2 minutes because not a single word is comprehensible and I love that.

I am back to offering once monthly breathwork support groups. These groups utilize an over-breathing technique which provides powerful access to whole self knowing, somatic, cognitive, emotional, spiritual. The practice is great for discernment, grief, and stress.

Please please don’t feed your psyche, your prayers, your secrets, your soul.

I can’t stop you but I really deeply recommend that you do not.

I’m a therapist of over 30 years and the daughter-in-law of an AI pioneer and really really wish you wouldn’t.
My latest AI feature dives into a nebulous movement of people sharing esoteric codes, manifestos, glyphs, diagrams, and poetry generated with chatbots, all of it based around theories of AI sentience and mysterious metaphors about spirals.

your peds office may have a flu shot clinic that you don’t even need an appointment for!
Flu season is already beginning. Pediatricians are worried after one of the deadliest flu seasons on record last year -- and the CDC ended a vaccination campaign in the middle of it. My latest: www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

🫠 Did 25 quilt blocks this weekend. Today SEWED the rows together. Went to sew the borders (4) on and... emptied my enormous spool of quilt thread. I have no more in the closet. This quilt is cursed I tell you. DIL 2 may be getting it DURING the 12 days instead of on the 1st.

Don't stop searching for joy.
Track it down if you can.
Look in cluttered bookstores, historic theaters, haunted playgrounds, and misty moors.
Take joy out for tea, adventure, and gentle mischief across the land.

It’s hard to believe now, but Republican politicians used to care about things other than obstructionism, destroying the government, and staying in office.

They don’t have to be like this now. It’s a choice they’re making.

Everytime someone is like "but don't you HATE winter in the PNW? The rain is TERRIBLE!" I'm like, "man this is where I spent the first 30 years of my life, no, no I do not hate the rain." (Picture Michigan state patrol of road conditions this morning)

25 of the FIDDLIEST quilt blocks I've ever done finished in 2 days. Sadly I'm not done. They now must all be sewn together, the borders sewn, and the backing sewn so I can mail the whole thing off to my quilter. By Tuesday. I have 6 therapy clients tomorrow. 🫠

Finished "The Knight and the Moth" last night and I have not been so angry at the ending of a book in... ever? Cool world building, honestly had so much potential and last PAGE was lazy reader betrayal. I could name 10x ways the author could have setup a sequel without THAT. Nope, done.

My personality in a nutshell? Last night I spent 2 hours with some crusty old Jungians dissecting a fairy tale. This morning I speed running a quilt top while listening to my favorite No Mans Sky streamer.

Deep down, don't we all want the same thing?
To be with someone who makes us feel safe and loved?
Someone who will help us run a tea shoppe & used bookstore in the old forest for witches, fairies, and the wild folk of the wood?

I'm seeing some truly WEIRD "hacks" to "not have a dry turkey" and friends you don't need a hack. You need a ROASTING BAG. Not only will your turkey cook faster it will be SUPER moist and you do not have to do ANY basting or other bullshit. Seriously, roasting bags.

2. boozy bookstore
3. hiding in a pillow fort
4. haunting ancient forests

Final project for my career counseling class is a presentation. Fine. With Powerpoint slides 😑. Fine. They insist I add speaker notes.

Friends I preached for 15 years. I do not need speaker notes. I'd much rather not have distracting slides. Trust me when I say this is not how to engage people.

I ordered a 64 oz water bottle to use for my colonoscopy prep (cause I have NOTHING in the house that big to mix the parts in accurately) and I am not sure how I feel about the cheery phrases in this particular instance... 😱🤪🙄

Hey Megan, why are you and others smarter than you, so hesitant about facial recognition and AI dependence? THIS IS WHY.
New incredible detail here: ICE says a match in its facial recognition app Mobile Fortify is a "definitive" determination of a person's status, and that this overrides birth certificates. This is an app ICE is using in the field to scan people
