I wrote a bipartisan bill last year that would have stopped all asylum seekers from being released into the country. It gave POTUS emergency power to shut down the border. It put billions into border security.

Between now and next November, every one of us have to find or become the candidate that comes at this shit with a sharpened machete. It is a fascist organization created under the pretense of security as a response to fear. That funding should be enriching our lives, and ICE belongs in a grave.
With this vote, Congress makes ICE the highest-funded federal law enforcement agency in history, with more money per year at its disposal over the next four years than the budgets of the FBI, DEA, ATF, US Marshals, and Bureau of Prisons combined.
