Charlottesville, Crozet real estate agent & partner w/ Nest Realty, husband, dad, bike rider, wishing for fewer cars, more bikes and sidewalks. I write JimsNote.com - one note a month about real estate market + stories, & RealCentralVA.com, RealCrozetVA
It's snowy out, so I'm looking at real estate date for Charlottesville and Albemarle, and making charts with AI.

You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

It is incumbent on all of us to witness what is being done to us.

Trigger warning: video shows an execution
UPDATE: @dropsitenews.com has obtained the very graphic video from the lady in the pink coat, which shows ICE executing yet another person in broad daylight:

I’m not an economist.

I knew this.

We all knew this.
By analyzing $4 trillion of shipments between January 2024 and November 2025, researchers found that foreign exporters absorbed only about 4% of the burden of last year’s U.S. tariff increases by lowering their prices, while American consumers and importers absorbed 96%.

ENERGY SECRETARY CHRIS WRIGHT: Oh, absolutely

VARNEY: How much of that oil are we going to take?

WRIGHT: We'll take the majority of Venezuelan exports

I really don't think the brownshirts who've participated in this orgy of violent abuse will enjoy the rest of their lives once the hand of govt protection is lifted and their kids and neighbors can easily find out what they did 🤷

The house I just showed had the most beautifully-seasoned cast iron skillet; I take that as a sign that the meticulousness we saw throughout the house was real, not artificial. Same as the well-spaced recycling bags.

Little things matter.

Also, they have pretty decent bicycle infrastructure there.

Like, I genuinely do not understand how a man this utterly risible has a cult following. The people obsessed with virile masculinity have latched onto this man, while he is visibly among the most gaudy insecure virtueless losers in the world.

More local politicians should do this. Agree or disagree, we know how she came to her decision to vote the way she did.
Had my first big vote last night and it was a really great experience talking through the issues with my colleagues and listening to community members. Really pleased with how it ultimately turned out.

Watch this. @slotkin.senate.gov lays out exactly what it looks like when a president uses the FBI and DOJ as political weapons to punish free speech.

The goal is clear: intimidate critics and chill dissent.
Last week, the U.S. Attorney for D.C. asked to interview me because of a 90-second video that President Trump didn't like.

The intimidation *is the point*. And it’s not going to work.
