The sick irony of pasting their logo over a symbol of remembrance for people who fought and died to prevent the very kind of divisive, hate-driven intolerance they promote.

I think one of the (many) reasons that therapy works is that permission to be a moaning, self-obsessed weirdo for one hour a week somehow relieves you of the need to be like that the rest of the time.

When you investigate pseudoscience long enough, you start to see the same kind of ideas resurface in slightly different packaging.

My new tattoo that says "My Other Tattoo is not a Nazi Symbol," is failing to answer a lot of questions raised by my other tattoo, which is a Nazi symbol.

For much of the 1960s and 1970s, Prince Andrew was second in line to the throne and could - had tragedy struck - have become king three years ago.

Those who oppose a republic on the not entirely convincing grounds of "I don't want a President Farage/Blair etc" might do well to contemplate that one.

Pseudoscience is harmful in at least 3 ways.

It can:

1. Directly produce harm

2. Indirectly deprive time/resources from supported treatments

3. Erode foundations/trust in scientific professions that promote its use

I don’t understand why we need a “Columbus Day” when this country celebrates incompetent white men failing up and taking what isn’t theirs all year round.

The reason the Right are so invested in the myth that the arts have no value isn’t because the arts don’t generate wealth (they do); it’s that studying the arts teaches people to imagine better ways of judging the value of an idea than by counting how much money it makes…
