Tell your doctors the pulse oximeter racism problem is an issue of concern for you. Even if you're white, tell them. The issue is known, but we need to lend it urgency.

#NEISVoid #MedSky this issue needs to be on everyone's lips until we have a solution in place. A lot of PoC died during early COVID because oxygen wasn't being given out without low pulse oximeter readings + they have trouble with dark skin. The issue continues to this day.
That reminds me, I need to talk to my doctors about the pulse ox issue again. They're much better than most, but it's something that needs reinforcing.

For years now we’ve been saying that non-cooperation with ICE is essential to protect domestic violence survivors who are immigrants. That survivors won’t get help if they fear detention and deportation.
