I'm allergic to the whooping cough vaccine. I caught because other people won't keep up to date on the vaccine.

I promise, you don't want to spend 30 seconds at a time curled in a ball, coughing so hard you can hear your trachea vibrate, gasping for air. It feels like hours.

Get your vaccines.
kinda prepared for these headlines given the ongoing collapse of the health system, decline in vaccination levels, and the latest surge in child poverty stats but also whatttt 😭😭😭😭

I wrote about how incarcerated people are all too often left behind and forced to endure horrific conditions during natural disasters like hurricanes.

Many of the things we criminalize, from homelessness to drug addiction, are actually public health concerns.
Giving some people benefits they don’t need is cheaper than making people prove they need it.
What’s your thing that shouldn’t be controversial in today’s politics but somehow is?

I have been checking Geidner's bluesky feed every decision day.

Before that I was following his coverage of the judge shopping investigation into LGBTQ rights lawyers - and the laughable double standard applied to actual judge shopping by conservatives.

There's no better legal journalism than his.
