A not insignificant part of the purge of Stancil is the "everything is content" mindset because in these people's eyes, Will is stealing the content they could have made that they think he doesn't deserve to make
What I actually did was allow credentialed press from mainstream outlets sit in my car on the condition that they identify no one but myself, something dozens of observers have done, but it’s fascinating how paranoiac mania over that imagined offense has evolved into vast crimes in 24 hours

An all-time favorite of mine. "A Mighty Wind" is probably a top 20 movie for me in part because of the whole Mitch and Mickey saga, which just NAILED so much of... everything.

This news made me shout "no!" in the house. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwLZ...

Honestly, Kanye West. The amount I collectively let slide because he's such an intriguing talent only for him to literally go full Nazi.
Question for the Skyline: What was your HARDEST "cancel"?? Like the actor/singer/athlete that was the hardest to drop.

I feel like it's always people I don't fw getting canceled so it's never really a loss.

The hardest one was maybe TI because I actually liked multiple albums by him.

Just saw a big-name account repost a “100 mile zone” map that said something along the lines of “this is what CBP views as the border.”

THAT IS NOT CORRECT.

The CBP can operate anywhere. The 100 mile zone is where they have EXTRA powers.

I'm reminded of the Anthony Harden Fall River shooting, where the police insisted they were justified in killing the guy and still wouldn't release the officer names.

This lack of transparency is far from the only indefensible thing happening right now, but it's definitely one of them.
The credibility test is this:
If some killed an ICE operative would the killer’s name be released?

This is terrible advice from an anonymous account you should not listen to. Don’t let randoms steer you wrong. I’ve been consistent on this front for a decade now.

Just. Use. Signal.
Signal isn't really that secure.

It's actually my favorite thing, but yeah, this is the way.

I love hooking smart reporters up with subject experts they haven't discovered yet.
My second favorite thing to do other than agreeing to do any interview?

“I’m not the person you want. Talk to my colleague at XYZ law school, ____.”
I love talking to the press. It's one of my favorite parts of my job, which I tell journalists when I talk to them. I think that part of my obligation is to help people make sense of things.

HOWEVER! The list of topics on which I am willing to speak is narrow. I'm not a dial-an-expert for my side.
