A life without #dogs is possible but pointless!

A tiny yet marvellous figurine of a dog (height 1.6 cm) made of blue glass and decorated with yellow and white threads. The unique figurine was found in a Celtic burial at Wallertheim, Rhineland-Palatinate, dating 2nd c. BC.

I kept mentally stalling on 'but they can't just refuse to investigate the murderer'. And then I remembered Bloody Sunday*

*disambiguation: the 1972 one in Northern Ireland. Although given the commonality that leads to a day being called Bloody Sunday, I'm sure there are other parallels

What is currently going on in Minneapolis is far past the 'what if he declares martial law' hypothetical for the practical impact it is having on people's lives. (And deaths.) They are going door-to-door, sometimes kicking those doors down, demanding papers on the street and shooting folks.

So, if I'm reading this right:

4 prosecutors at the Dept of Justice Civil Rights division quit because the Trump-appointed leadership won't investigate Good's killer,

and

6 from the Minnesota US Attorney's office quit when they were told instead to investigate her widow.

Remembering that in the ?80s (?70s), Europe set up its own pre-internet online database search system, Datastar, to be independent of the US's Dialog system

But then the end of history and the internet, which was decentralised anyway right, so no need to worry

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.
