When I say you reap what you sow…

This ICE agent created chaos in the Summer in LA. He was then arrested after pointing a firearm at a woman in a restaurant bathroom. He complains how it’s hard to be ICE in the station. He’s since died of a drug overdose.

I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

Former UVA president Jim Ryan, who resigned over the summer due to pressure from the Trump Administration, just shared this 12-page letter with the Faculty Senate, detailing his experience with the Board of Visitors and DOJ.

It's a surreal--and troubling--read.

To recap: Jeffrey Epstein offered a NY Times reporter photos taken in Epstein's kitchen of Donald Trump and girls in bikinis *and* implored the NYT reporter to put this information in the public discourse in 2015

What did the NY Times editors know about this offer?

'At $2k a piece it would come to $600B—more than twice what Trump is collecting from us with his import taxes. Since he’s already $330B short, how can Trump think he has money to pay down the national debt?'

I will not donate anything to any incumbent Senate Democrats between now and the 2026 midterms unless and until @schumer.senate.gov @chuckschumer.com agrees to resign from his role Senate Minority Leader. It is past time for new leadership in the Democratic Party—especially in the Senate.

It's one or the other: either (1) Schumer wanted the shutdown to end and orchestrated these 8, safe Dem Senators to be the ones to vote for it, or (2) he lacked the political capital/'power' to keep his party in line. Either way, he has lost the confidence of the electorate and many Dem leaders

People fucking hate this guy. They fucking hate ICE. They fucking hate how much power he has. He is at 63% overall disapproval to 37% approval. That's lower than their poll after January 6th. And this poll was done before he started intentionally starving people. I wish our media would reflect this.

it’s an innovative new strategy called irreparable harm and it’s the one weird trick judges just can’t beat
By proceeding with the demolition of the White House East Wing before seeking approval from federal agencies for a new ballroom, President Donald Trump forced the issue. It's a strategy known as "stake-driving."
How Trump Demolished the White House East Wing
By putting the demolition of the East Wing before the necessary approvals for his ballroom, President Donald Trump borrowed a tactic known as “stake-driving” to force an outcome.

Serious question: How many historic memorials would Donald Trump have to demolish/destroy before Republican congresspeople speak up? The White House ain't enough. The Lincoln Memorial? Washington Memorial? Legitimately not sure there's a line he could cross on this

Three senior Republican appropriators agree it doesn't make any sense for Democrats to agree to a government funding deal unless Trump actually adheres to the deal.

The Democratic alternative CR has language that would begin to address this, but Trump and Vought are completely opposed.
