The bot farms are working overtime on Bluesky today. I've gotten about 20 of these requests in the past few hours.

Apparently 25-year-old women with pneumatic breasts and duck-lips suddenly find me really sexy.

Not sure why @support.bsky.team doesn't try to block these folks

30 years ago my high school wouldn't even give me a Tylenol without a note from my mom, but sure, minors are getting gender surgery
i once confronted one of these people at a public event with direct evidence that "gender surgery for minors" isn't a thing that happens and it made no impact.

Not only has WRCT 88.3 never censored my show, it's been pretty clear over the years that the people who run the station are listening to better shows on other stations whenever I'm on
Over-under on Stephen Colbert making it to his official end date in May 2026?

2. it’s the right thing to do
3. fighting is better politics than not fighting

of course it’s the right time, if such a thing exists, to fight for trans rights.

The time I tried and failed to buy the Mitchell film score
In 2008, I tried to buy the film score to the legendary in some circles (mostly MST3K fans) Joe Don Baker film Mitchell. I was not successful. A new MMO called All Points Bulletin was in beta. It was...

Everyone's dunking on the asshole editor at the Cleveland newspaper who tried to shame a college journalist because she didn't want to use "A.I." for reporting, but consider this:

That same editor is also the asshole who broke the union at that newspaper, so fuck him.

I think about all of the blues artists in the Mississippi Delta, and all of the Appalachian guitar and fiddle players, and all of the '60s garage rock bands in Pittsburgh.

Those people might have been able to write legendary music if only they had access to an electric plagiarism machine. Alas
What do we think about the assertion in this meme? I know, we think it's asinine, but I'm looking for specific arguments as to why it's asinine.

Dave McCormick ran as a "sensible" centrist Republican, and the media in Pennsylvania let him get away with it.

In reality, he's a hard-right MAGA ideologue. I didn't think PA could elect a worse Republican than Pat Toomey, but son of a gun, we did

The Democratic pundit class is completely underestimating how repulsive Gavin Newsom is. Setting aside his weathervane politics, the man emits a cloud of oily smugness that can be seen from outer space
I’ll keep saying it but your biggest litmus test for a presidential nominee should be: Do you like them?

Not some vibes feeling about whether some mythical midwestern swing voter will like them. Do YOU like them? Cause that genuine feeling is more important than some back of envelope calculation.

The problem with Democratic leadership is there is simply no centrist position on ICE. You are either a psychopath who thinks this is funny and justified or a normal person who is outraged your tax dollars are paying for this. Only Schumer’s imaginary Bailey family thinks there’s middle ground here.
A female ICE thug posing as a distressed motorist in neighborhoods of Brooklyn Park (63% non-white), MN, to entrap good samaritans. This is the same MO Ted Bundy used to lure his victims to their demise.

You ever stop and think about CASABLANCA? You ever stop and think about "Welcome back to the fight, this time, I know our side will win?" You ever think about a bar full of people defiantly singing La Marseillaise, played by a soundstage full of Jewish refugees? You ever think about CASABLANCA??????

The older I get I think Are You Being Served? is popular across ages, classes & countries because the early episodes (up to Arthur Brough's death) are actually dead-on about what working in a shop is like, & it's clean & filthy at once. The dirty jokes demand imagination.
"Water for Young Mr. Grace!"

I used to wonder being a West Coast CA kid (PBS was always on in our house), am I weird?

Yes, all that late 80's/90's afternoon television was on and got play in my home, but when I shared PBS AuBS with friends, even torpid stoner/misfits genuinely liked the comedy. 😀
