The last political column I was allowed to write in the @washingtonpost.com was a criticism of Obama.

His people took issue with my piece, but we were respectful.

Now he is tweeting in support of me.

This is how free political speech and respect for debate *actually works*.

Or used to work.

Judging by the shamefully opportunistic & politicizing rhetoric of some rightwingers on Twitter, & their cynical use of Charlie Kirk’s horrific murder for political point scoring, it’s almost as if Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman wasn’t murdered by a Trump-voting MAGA maniac just 12 weeks ago.

I am confident that had Barbara Lee or Katie Porter @katieporteroc.bsky.social won California's senate race, they'd have something to say to support and join Corey Booker on the senate floor. @schiff.senate.gov, what will you do with your power?
I urge my senators, @schiff.senate.gov and @padilla.senate.gov to support and join @booker.senate.gov in this epic floor speech to gum the Senate works and inform the public of the dangers of this administration
The Trump administration called it an “administrative error.” But that error led to a nightmare for Maryland Resident Abrego Garcia.

There’s a directory of Black farmers: “The Black Farmers Index.”

Buy and uplift local. Many are small-scale specialists and located in urban areas. I found an organic resource in my area that I will definitely check out.

As we watch the GOP dismantle the federal government with swift urgency, we must acknowledge the reason we are here is Dems do not move with that urgency.

When Roe was overturned, Dems held the House, Senate, and White House.

Instead of codifying Roe, they fundraised off of it.

On the other hand… a corporate platitude from a league that won’t let its black employees speak out against police brutality… WAS NEVER DOING SHIT TO END RACISM
