Girls forever expected to bear the burden of society’s continued disinterest in teaching boys to see us as equal humans. Consequences increasingly again seen as too hard on boys. Far too many fathers, & sadly some mothers, happy to enable it, even against their own daughters.
Our world in a middle school nutshell. The abusers are coddled and shielded so they can walk away and abuse again. The abused are demonized and punished for their reaction to the abuse. Never the other way around.
