The President promised prices would go back down. In a healthy economy, they almost never do. The normal pattern is: prices jump, then over time your paycheck catches up. The pain comes when wages don't follow—then it's not “inflation” so much as an affordability crisis.

Bill has been filed to stop misuse of emergency decrees by the Governor of Florida. DeSantis has used an emergency decree he arbitrarily signed on January 2023 to disburse at least $350 million in no-bid contracts to vendors at Alligator Alcatraz. He renewed it twenty times now.
