I am excited to see the gilt market reaction to this news. Think it could be quite bad. A big chunk of the recent gilt rally was predicated on Labour showing they could hike the big taxes if needed and….well I guess that idea is dead.

I suspect Fairbairn could have successfully pled brewers’ / distillers’ droop.
Child Grooming scandals, sexual predators, Jimmy Savile, Gary Glitter, Stewart Hall, Rolf Harris (whom I met once in Edinburgh to my regret), etc, etc. But what gets me is that there has never been a police inquiry into allegations of abuse against young girls by our former MP Nicholas Fairbairn.

Labour discussed moving maritime borders to bring North Sea oil into "English waters as part of a covert campaign to undermine support for Scottish independence.

How many like myself thought the PO had BOUGHT Horizon, ie is now the owner?
If Fujitsu is the owner of the faulty product, shouldn’t Fujitsu being paying the compensation to the postmasters.
£41 million! That’s how much more the Post Office has just agreed to pay Fujitsu to keep using the faulty Horizon IT system. It's a slap in the face to all those wrongfully convicted Post Office staff.
